I had a "special" move. My wine cellar had a number of esoteric, rare wines. I was moving from one house to another between Westport and Weston, CT, but I needed a highly competent, focused group to pack, transport, and store my wines, while the more mundane furniture and house goods could be handled by (almost) anyone. William China and Brice Sowell are tremendous. They were polite, punctual, sensitive to the unique nature of my wines, careful, fastidious, and a real joy to work with. When I move into my new house (in about three months), I hope that they will be the individuals tasked with returning my wines to me … it will be a pleasure to work with them again.

Life Savers! The management are kind efficient and Compassionate ( they handled 2 moves due to an illness and then a death in family.) The gentleman who handled the moves were polite,remarkably fast and cautious. Neither of the moves were simple. One involved 3 new locations. One involved carrying a huge table down 14 flights. One destination had a flood an hour before they were to arrive, so they rescheduled at no charge. I paid for the estimated hours and a few weeks later got a refund check because it took fewer hours. Honest and reliable. Highly recommended!

I have used Morgan Manhattan Moving & Storage Co., Inc. three times in the last ten years: once on a local Manhattan move, and twice to and from NYC/Shelter Island. They have always done an incredible job! I have total trust that they will always take excellent care of my possessions, arrive and finish on time and provide expert communication. Dorothy in the Bronx despatch office is wonderful, is very responsive to phone calls and emails, and is a pleasure to deal with. As is James Allen, who provides a very detailed job quote and has also been the crew chief extraordinaire on two of my moves. The two of them make the entire process clear, detailed, well communicated and stress free. I have many antiques and fragile items which required special protection, handling and care. The moving team expertly led by James Allen paid high attention to the details, cared for my belongings as if they were their own, and made sure that everything arrived and was unpacked in perfect condition. I have never had an item damaged or broken with Morgan of Manhattan. Each member of the move team takes pride in their work, is experienced, well trained, polite, caring and very personable. A special call out goes to Nelson who has been on several of my moves and is an extraordinary asset. Morgan of Manhattan always provided a refund for moving materials not used and continued to check in that everything had met my expectations.
